In 2016, Desert Snow transformed Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah into a full-scale winter destination.
The attraction featured a real ice rink, cinematic artificial snow dressing, an interactive Snow Fight Zone, snow tubing ramp, inflatable maze, and choreographed falling snow effects that completed the atmosphere.
Combining technical precision with creative design, Desert Snow delivered a cohesive, family-friendly festival that captured the magic of winter, right in the UAE.
Design & Technical Delivery
Desert Snow provided a complete design and technical package for the Al Majaz Winter Festival, blending authentic and artificial snow environments.
The site combined a real ice rink with movie-style artificial snow dressing across the landscape. Overhead falling snow effects added motion and atmosphere, choreographed to lighting and music cues.
Interactive features included a Snow Fight Zone with soft snowballs, a snow tubing ramp, and a giant inflatable maze— all unified by festive festoon lighting and safe public design for day-to-night operation.
