Overview
Desert Snow was commissioned by Brag for Harvey Nichols Dubai to transform the runway of the Jumeirah Madinat Arena into a snow-covered winter landscape for their 2012 fashion show.
The creative brief called for a balance between elegance and theatricality, a setting where falling snow would become part of the show’s choreography, highlighting each model’s movement and the collection’s dramatic aesthetic.
Design & Technical Delivery
The project featured settled and drifted display snow applied along the catwalk, giving the appearance of freshly fallen snow under stage lighting.
Overhead choreographed snow machines were integrated into the show’s cue system, synchronising falling snow with the music and model pacing.
The result was a seamless visual transformation combining fashion, theatre, and atmospheric design into one cohesive experience.
